O ensino do gênero contratos internacionais em um curso de inglês para fins específicos na área jurídica

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar atividades baseadas em gênero de um curso de inglês voltado a profissionais da área jurídica, sob a perspectiva da Abordagem Línguas para Fins Específicos. O curso foi desenvolvido pelo Grupo Abordagem Instrumental e Ensino-Aprendizagem de Línguas em Contextos Diversos - GEALIN e vem sendo ministrado na COGEAE/PUCSP desde 2006 como um curso de extensão universitária. O trabalho teve como base teórica a Abordagem Inglês para Fins Específicos segundo Hutchinson & Waters (1987) e Dudley-Evans & St. John (1998), a análise genérica de Swales (1990) e a proposta pedagógica de Ramos (2004). São apresentados a descrição geral do corpus, o contexto da pesquisa e os procedimentos para realização das atividades.

Adriana Marroni Z. P. Rossini, COGEAE-PUCSP / GEALIN, São Paulo

Adriana Marroni Z.P.Rossini holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the Catholic University of São Paulo. She graduated in Law. She has been teaching ESP focused on legal language for more than 10 years. She has been involved in ESP research and teaching since 2006. Presently she is part of the research group GEALIN in the Applied Linguistics Post-Graduation Program at the Catholic University of São Paulo, Brazil.

Juliana Belmonte, Universidade Metodista de São Paulo/ Faculdade São Bernardo / GEALIN, São Paulo

Juliana Belmonte holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the Catholic University of São Paulo. She graduated in English Language and Literature. She has been involved in teaching at universities in graduation and post-graduation courses for more than 10 years. Presently she is part of the research group GEALIN in the Applied Linguistics Post-Graduation Program at the Catholic University of São Paulo, Brazil.

Keila Rocha Reis de Carvalho, Fatec Barueri / GEALIN, São Paulo

Keila Rocha Reis de Carvalho holds a Master’s and a Doctoral degree in Applied Linguistics from PUCSP. She is a member of the GEALIN research group and teaches English in a public university in São Paulo. Her main research interests are in the areas of English for Specific Purposes, Materials Development, Genre Analysis and Teacher Education and Development.
