Abstract

This article aims at stating the importance of analysing the context of production of texts as well as their organization through the use of modalization. Such approach is based on Socio-Discursive Interactionism and the framework proposed by Bronckart (1997, 1998, 2004) and other researchers from the University of Geneve. This analysis has contributed to checking the (re)construction of meaning on the teaching and learning process of reading in a foreign language.
