Abstract

By collecting and exploring corpora, we generated a list of compounds, the starting point to observe texts in our study. Our goal is to look for textual combinations to such nominal compounds by exploring the COSMAS (Corpus Search, Management and Analysis System) project database, from the University of Manheim. We have been looking for empirical evidence of textual combinations that will be further described and classified, aiming at employing the results in the enhancement of German language teaching and learning in undergraduate courses. We intend to apply such knowledge to support the development of the architecture and implementation of an on-line computational tool, which would identify bilingual textual combinations.
