Navigating through Logs: An Online Teacher’s (Re)Development

Abstract

This article aims at reconstructing an experienced face-to-face teacher’s reflexive pathway by means of analyzing her reflection logs produced throughout her first online ESP course teaching experience. The foundations of this work lie on the notion of logs as a discursive genre and as an adjunct one in the process of critical reflexion (Machado, 1998; Liberali, 1999). In a broader view, the present work is placed in the field of discursive language studies, more specifically in that of bakhtinian background.
