The objective of this article is to study the way in which a state-owned enterprise builds its public image. For this purpose we analyse the annual report of the 'Companhia Metropolitana Paulista', the subway administration in São Paulo, Brazil, from a discourse-interactive perspective. Within this perspective we give priority to linguistic markers which reveal the different discursive voices, modality and verb tense.Downloads
